Join Us For The Own Your Introversion Launchpad Workshop Series

⌛ By Kaylin R. Staten ⌛

It’s no secret that the first three months in 2020 have been busy #behindthehourglass, with professional and personal changes taking up the bulk of my time.

BUT, now that all of us are practicing social distancing and staying home due to COVID-19, it's a good time to remain interacted with one another and *finally* host our inaugural workshop, Own Your Introversion. We’ll be coming at you live on our new Facebook group page every day at 2 p.m. from April 6 to April 10, with a recap session set for April 13 at 1 p.m.

The best part is that it's a FREE way to advance your professional and personal skill sets.

At the end of 2019, I created the 10 Ways to Launch Introverted Communications Pros Past Their Comfort Zones Guidebook. This free eBook is something I was incredibly passionate about.

Three months later, I am still proud of this eBook crafted just for introverted communications professionals. It’s a practical guide to help you navigate the world through your own introverted lens, and it’s free to download.

So, why should you read through this eBook, attend a live session, or watch a replay video?

It will get you thinking about how you can use your introversion as your own superpower. When I first started my career, I was under the illusion that all of us had to be the same cookie-cutter template of a PR person. When I went through the Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) process, I had a long-awaited epiphany: through all of our areas of expertise and experiences, we all bring something unique to the table. Extroverts AND introverts alike.

I am very passionate about helping people find the confidence to answer the callings in their lives, especially for uncertain introverts who don’t know if they can make it in a communications field.

During the workshop and in sessions in the Facebook Group, we will delve more into the workbook section of the eBook. We’ll also discuss items that build on the workbook’s content.

When you own your introversion, you can:

✅ Figure out how to lean into your personality

✅ Better prepare for situations that make you anxious

✅ Give in to your feelings to be more effective at work

✅ Feel recharged enough to tackle your to-do list

✅ Learn the secret ingredients to achieving success as an introvert

As a public relations practitioner, writer, and business owner, I eternally focus on my clients and the tasks at hand. I don’t always think about myself and how to make sure I am being the most authentic and effective version of myself. When we think about ourselves, it’s not selfish. It helps us be better communicators for our clients, brand, company, and more.

We have to invest in and show up as ourselves in order to make viable investments in other capacities.

This is what we will cover:

  • Day 1: Lean Into Your Personality + Use Emotional Intelligence

  • Day 2: Take Extra Time to Prepare + Don’t Be Overly Critical

  • Day 3: Give Into Your Feelings + Networking Is Important

  • Day 4: Increase Your Digital Footprint + Take Time to Recharge

  • Day 5: Take Care of Your Health + Rinse and Repeat.

  • Recap: Tips 1-10 + Other Resources

Next Monday, you’ll see me in my home office, complete with pregnancy acne and my roots showing. We’ll all get through this pandemic self-quarantine somehow. For now, let’s embrace our authentic selves, even the parts we do not care for at the moment. I hope to see you next week!
